in 51 years we have scored 14 goals and amassed a grand total of 7 points, that is truly awful

Were talking on another thread about how a win after 52 years might make even the most negative of our supporters United.

Maybe not you though eh?

The first thing is to select a starting eleven capable of giving it a go. A Noble Nolan pairing in midfield is unlikely to give us a draw let alone a victory.

I fancy atleast the draw....

All of you making the trip to Merseyside to support the team - fantastic effort, I really hope it finally pays off. Come on United, make it happen!

Was it 78 when thousands of West Ham got locked out and ended up at Everton reserves ?

They looked absolutely fucked during ET on Tuesday. No doubt the fat cunt will exploit this and play for a draw/slender defeat.

"If BFS sets the team up correctly, the current squad have, probably, the best chance in 3 decades"

I'd go with that.

If they play anything like Tuesday we will lose about four nil

Thatchead says....

Liverpool v West Ham

I was very impressed by the way Liverpool played in the second leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Tuesday, even though they lost. They were excellent in the first leg too.
The only problem is that they are still without a goalscorer - if they had one of those, they would be going to Wembley for the final.
Daniel Sturridge is close to fitness, however, and could even figure against West Ham. Clearly his return from injury cannot happen soon enough for the Reds.
The Hammers have got different ways of playing now, and also seem able to play poorly and win, but I am backing Liverpool to nick the points here.
Lawro's prediction: 2-1

Joke Whole 2:00 Fri Jan 30
Re: We will win tomorrow!
I said on the Lawro thread that the first West Ham team to win at Anfield since 1963 will move straight into Hammers folklore without passing Go! Or collecting 200 pounds.

If BFS sets the team up correctly, the current squad have, probably, the best chance in 3 decades. If he goes down the "We play it MY way" route...put the champers back in the cellar and keep dreaming.
